I Wouldn’t Change A Thing

If I could see into the future,
What would my crystal ball say?
Well, my crystal ball is broken,
So I threw that ball away.

‘Cause we cannot see all ends,
Will we just accept what we can take?
Brave enough to face the outcome,
Of the choices that we make?

And I wouldn’t change a thing.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
No, no, no.

So we live by our decisions,
And we live with our regret.
Our lives are filled with choices,
And the future isn’t set.

On this path that I have travelled,
I found you there along the way.
The past we made together,
Will help us face the coming day.

And I wouldn’t change a thing.
No, I wouldn’t change a thing.

These problems laid before us,
We don’t know what to do.
They say they know which way to go,
Oh, but they will lie to you.

Some dreams will disappear,
Like a mirage across the sand.
You stand beside me on our journey,
A greater dream than I had planned.

And I wouldn’t change a thing.
No, I wouldn’t change a thing.

This felt much more like a song than a poem. I loved it. Could almost imagine the rhythm and melody following along. Almost.
It was hopeful and inspiration. Loved it.

Now's your time to shine…
